Anand Mahindra Proposes Solution to Tackle Delhi's Air Pollution Crisis

Delhi-NCR is currently grappling with a severe air pollution problem, with stubble burning being a major contributing factor. Business tycoon Anand Mahindra took to the microblogging platform X to present an alternative solution for curbing pollution in Delhi. He suggested the adoption of Regenerative Agriculture as a means to address the pollution issue.

“To combat Delhi’s pollution, Regenerative Agriculture MUST be given a chance. It offers a viable alternative to stubble burning while simultaneously enhancing soil productivity. @VikashAbraham of @naandi_india is ready to assist. Let’s make it happen!” wrote Anand Mahindra.

In response to the escalating air pollution in Delhi-NCR, schools have been directed to suspend physical classes until November 10. Furthermore, the state government has recommended offices to implement work-from-home policies and enforced the odd-even car rationing scheme.

To further combat air pollution, the odd-even car rationing scheme will be in effect from November 13 to 20.

On a related note, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) recently activated Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) throughout the National Capital Region (NCR) in an effort to prevent further deterioration of air quality.
