IIT Kanpur has taken a significant step towards providing working professionals with the opportunity to enhance their skills by launching three new eMasters degree programmes. The programmes are designed to equip professionals with the expertise and skills required to develop futuristic public policies, strategic decision-making abilities, and business intelligence. The unique feature of these programmes is that they have a flexible duration, allowing professionals to complete them within 1-3 years, and they do not require a GATE score for admission.

The three eMasters programmes launched by IIT Kanpur are e-Masters in Economics and Finance for Businesses, e-Masters in Economics, Finance and Data Analysis, and eMasters in Economics, Finance and Public Policy. The curriculum for the programmes is industry-focused and includes 60 credits across 12 modules, covering cutting-edge research and practical applications. Participants will have access to world-class faculty and experts from IIT Kanpur, ensuring that they receive top-notch education.

The programmes also offer several benefits to professionals, including a credit transfer facility, weekend-only live interactive classes, and self-paced learning, making it convenient for working professionals to balance their work and study commitments. Professionals who enrol in the IIT Kanpur eMasters programmes will also have the opportunity to transfer credits for higher education at IIT Kanpur, such as an MTech or PhD. Additionally, participating in these eMasters degree programmes will provide professionals with access to IIT Kanpur’s placement cell, incubation cell, and alumni network, allowing them to make valuable connections and advance their careers.
