Meanwhile, the Iranian government defended its actions as legitimate defense under the United Nations Charter. Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani warned against any country aiding Israel in attacks on Iran, vowing a firm response to such actions.

The conflict saw additional developments, including the downing of Iranian drones by British military aircraft and attacks by Iranian-backed groups like Hezbollah and Houthi rebels. International condemnation poured in, with nations urging de-escalation and restraint.

As tensions remain high, the United Nations Security Council scheduled an emergency meeting to address the situation. While Israel lifted immediate threat warnings, ongoing restrictions and heightened security measures underscore the persistent risk of further escalation.
