The latest study about mushrooms identifies an active compound in it which can predominantly boost the nerves growth besides enhance the memory power of children.
The study was published in the US’s ‘Journal of Neurochemistry’. Professor Frederic Meunier from the Queensland Brain Institute expressed that a team of research scholars had identified new active compounds in mushrooms called Hericium Erinaceus. They have also discovered lion’s mane mushrooms which improve the brain cell growth as well as the memory of people especially the children during their pre-clinical trials.
“It was told that the extracts from ‘lion’s mane’ mushrooms were used in traditional medicine in Asian countries for centuries, but now the scholars proved it scientifically which determine their potential effect on brain cells.”
