Nepal President to be Flown to India for Medical Treatment

Nepal President Ram Chandra Paudel will be flown to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), New Delhi, for further medical treatment after he was detected with a lung infection. Paudel was admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Nepal after falling short of breath and fainting. Doctors found an infection in his lungs and put him on medication, which failed to improve his health. Following this, the Chief Administrator of TUTH confirmed that Paudel would be flown to India in an air ambulance for further treatment, as there was no significant improvement in his health.

Paudel was admitted to TUTH on April 5 after complaining of a stomach ache. He underwent treatment for four days and was released with a clean bill of health. However, he was readmitted to the hospital on Monday after falling short of breath and fainting. TUTH hospital officials confirmed that he would be flown out to India at 9:30 am (Local Time) on Wednesday.

On March 13, senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Paudel was sworn in as the President of Nepal. He secured 33,802 electoral votes while his rival, Subash Chandra Nembwang, secured 15,518 electoral votes, according to Nepal’s Election Commission. The voting process saw 313 members of the federal parliament and 518 members from the provincial assemblies participating in the electoral process to pick the next president. Paudel had the support of eight political parties, while Nembang was tipped to be backed by independent lawmakers.

The news of Paudel’s illness has raised concerns among the citizens of Nepal, with many wishing for his speedy recovery. Paudel is the third President of the Republic of Nepal and has held several key positions in the Nepali Congress party. His absence from political life could have a significant impact on the political scenario in Nepal.

In conclusion, the decision to fly Paudel to India for further medical treatment is a positive step towards his recovery. The people of Nepal are hoping for his speedy recovery and are eagerly awaiting his return to political life.(MIND VOICE NEWS)
