Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Research Scientist- I (Non- Medical) (Lab) –
Essential Qualifications: First-class Post Graduate degree including Integrated degrees in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences OR Second class Post Graduate degree, including Integrated degrees in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences with Ph.D. in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology/ Biomedical sciences
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
– Doctoral degree/ Post-doctoral experience in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Infectious diseases
– Experience in molecular diagnosis/testing of infectious diseases
– Experience in scientific writing as evidenced by peerreviewed publications
– Experience in using bioinformatic tools

2. Project Technical Support – III (Lab) –
Essential Qualifications: Three years graduate in Microbiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology/ Biomedical sciences from a recognized university with 3 years experience OR PG in Microbiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology/ Biomedical sciences from a recognized Institution/ University
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
– Hands-on experience in microbiological techniques as evidenced from work experience in recognized diagnostic/hospital/ medical research institutions
– Experience in performing bacterial culture and molecular techniques viz. nucleic acid extraction, PCR, serology etc.
– Working knowledge of MS Office applications

3. Project Technical Support – II –
Essential Qualifications: 12th in science + Diploma (MLT/ DMLT) + five years of experience in relevant subject/field
Notes: *B.Sc degree in Medical Laboratory Technology shall be treated as 3 years of experience
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
– Work experience in a recognized Teaching Hospital/ Medical Research Institution/NABL-accredited laboratory
– Working knowledge of MS Office applications

4. Project Scientist – C (Medical) –
Essential Qualification: MBBS degree [recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)] with three years of experience (public health related) after obtaining MBBS degree (OR) MBBS [recognized by NMC] with MPH/PhD after MBBS degree (OR) MBBS degree [recognized by NMC] with MD / DNB in community medicine/ community health/ PSM, including the integrated PG degrees
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
– Experience in scientific writing as evidenced by journal publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals
– Experience in writing health research protocols, SOPs and managing health research projects
– Trained in GCP
– Working knowledge in data management/statistical software – Experience in teaching and training in health research areas

Age Limit:

1. Project Research Scientist- I (Non- Medical) (Lab) – 38 years

2. Project Technical Support – III (Lab) – 40 Years

3. Project Technical Support – II – 30 years

4. Project Scientist – C (Medical) – 40 Years

Salary Details:

1. Project Research Scientist- I (Non- Medical) (Lab) – Rs. 56,000/- + 27% HRA per month

2. Project Technical Support – III (Lab) – Rs. 28,000/- + admissible HRA per month

3. Project Technical Support – II – Rs. 20,000/- + admissible HRA per month

4. Project Scientist – C (Medical) – Rs.72,360/- per month (Inclusive of HRA)
