Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Professor (Special Education) (Consultant) –
Essential:
1. Master Degree with M. Ed (Special Education) (Full time course) in any category recognized by RCI.
2. Registration with RCI.
3. Minimum 5 years experience in teaching/research in related field.
Desirable: 1. Ph. D in the field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.

2. Lecturer Occupational Therapy (Consultant) –
Essential: 1. Masters in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institute (Full Time).
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching/research in field of rehabilitation.
Desirable: 1. Possessing any RCI recognized Qualification.

3. Prosthetist & Orthotist (Consultant) –
Essential:
1. Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from a recognized Institute.
2. Registered with RCI. 3. Minimum 2 years relevant experience.

4. Clinical Assistant (Speech Therapist) (Consultant) –
Essential:
1. B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg.) equivalent.
2. 2 years relevant experience.
3. Registration with RCI.

5. Clerk/Typist (Consultant) –
Essential:
1. Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification.
2. Typing Speed 35 wpm with computer knowledge.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in the concerned area

Age Limit: (As on 15.02.2024)

1. Assistant Professor (Special Education) (Consultant) – 56 years

2. Lecturer Occupational Therapy (Consultant) – 56 years

3. Prosthetist & Orthotist (Consultant) – 56 years

Salary Details:

1. Assistant Professor (Special Education) (Consultant) – Rs.75,000/-

2. Lecturer Occupational Therapy (Consultant) – Rs.60,000/-

3. Prosthetist & Orthotist (Consultant) – Rs.50,000/-

4. Clinical Assistant (Speech Therapist) (Consultant) – Rs.50,000/-

5. Clerk/Typist (Consultant) – Rs.25,000/-

Application Fee:

Application fee of Rs. 500/- for the said positions in the mode of Demand Draft made in favour of Director, NIEPMD, payable at Chennai need to be enclosed. SC/ST/PwDs and female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
