Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Associate – II –
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Physics from a recognized University or Equivalent and 2 years research experience.
Desirable : Experience in the field of electrochemical energy conversion or storage research

2. Senior Project Associate –
Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences from a recognized University or Equivalent. Desirable: Experience in the filed of nano biotechnology having expertise in nanoparticle synthesis (metal and polymeric nanoparticles), surface modification with proteins, antibodies ( bio-conjugation) and biochemical assays like ELISA, Western Blot and in vitro assays including cell culture work.

3. Project Associate – I –
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Analytical / Applied Chemistry / Hydrochemistry from a recognized University or Equivalent.

4. Project Associate – I –
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MCA, B.E/B.Tech in Computer / Information Technology from a recognized University or Equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in Dot Net, MVC Framework, PHP, MySQL/ SQL Server is preferred

5. Project Associate – I –
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Physics / Material Science / from a recognized University or Equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in Computational Chemistry (Gaussian / Molecular level calculations)

Age Limit:

1. Project Associate – II – 35 Years

2. Senior Project Associate – 40 Years

3. Project Associate – I – 35 Years

4. Project Associate – I – 35 Years

5. Project Associate – I – 35 Years

Salary Details:

1. Project Associate – II – Rs.28,000/-+ 18% HRA.

2. Senior Project Associate – Rs. 42,000/- +18% HRA

3. Project Associate – I – Rs.31,000/-+ 18% HRA for who possess CSIR-UGC NET Score (including lectureship) or GATE. Rs.25,000/-+ 18% HRA for who do not fulfill the above.

4. Project Associate – I – Rs.25,000/-+ 18% HRA.

5. Project Associate – I – Rs.31,000/-+ 18% HRA for who possess CSIR-UGC NET Score (including lectureship) or GATE. Rs.25,000/-+ 18% HRA for who do not fulfill the above.

Selection Process:

Interested eligible candidates should report at CSIR-NIIST, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram at 09.00 AM, on the dates mentioned assign each post code. Candidates reaching after 09.30 AM will not be entertained. Only those whose final results have been declared as on the date of walk in interview will be eligible

The filled in signed application along with photo pasted has to be submitted at the time of Walk-in-Interview. The application form should be accompanied by self attested copies of testimonial/ certificate in support of age, educational qualification, experience and caste mentioned in the application. The applicant must also bring all the original certificates/testimonials at the time of walk-in-interview for verification.
