Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holders in Engineering –
Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The diploma in Engineering should be of 03 years duration after SSC/HSC.
OR
Two years Diploma through Lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.

2. Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Science Graduates –
1. B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
2. Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential.
3. English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examinations is compulsory.
4. Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible.

Age Limit: (As on 14.02.2024)

1. Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holders in Engineering – 18 to 25 yrs

2. Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Science Graduates – 18 to 25 yrs

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:

1. Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holders in Engineering – Approximate Monthly Emoluments (Pay + DA) – Rs.51,684/- Level 06

2. Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Science Graduates – Approximate Monthly Emoluments (Pay + DA) – Rs.51,684/- Level 06

Selection Process:

NPCIL RR Site may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee:

Only male applicants belonging to General, EWS and OBC categories are required to make a nonrefundable payment as under towards application fee with the applicable bank charges using State Bank Collect link provided on the website after final submission of the online application

Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) -Diploma Holders in Engineering / Science Graduates – Rs.150/-

The State Bank Collect facility can also be operated through the www.onlinesbi.co.in website by selecting State Bank Collect option => select PSU =>Select state as Rajasthan and search => select Name as NPCIL 1 AND 2*=>Submit =>Select Payment Category as ‚RAPS-Recruitment of CAT1(ST/SA)‛.

SC/ST, PwBD, DODPKIA, Ex Servicemen, Female applicants and employees of NPCIL are exempted from the payment of Application Fee.
