Chennai: Residents in Adyar and Guindy areas are bracing for a temporary power supply suspension on Friday from 9am to 2pm due to essential maintenance work. This planned outage is part of efforts to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the power supply in the region.
In Adyar, the affected locations include Srinivasa Moorthy Avenue, K B Nagar, LB Road, Sardar Patel Road, Sastri Nagar, Sishya School, Ambiga Street, and many more. Meanwhile, in Guindy, the areas encompass Adambakkam – Ramkrishnapuram 1st and 3rd streets, Labour Well Street, Karuneekar Street, Yathava Street, Parthasarathy Nagar, and Raj Bhavan.
Officials have assured that power supply will resume before 2pm if the maintenance work is completed earlier than expected. However, residents are advised to plan their activities accordingly and conserve electricity during the scheduled outage.
