On the occasion of World Homeopathy Day April-10, a scientific convention is set to be inaugurated by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in New Delhi today. The event is being organized by the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH) under the Ministry of AYUSH to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr Christian Fredrich Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Homeopathy.
The theme of this year’s convention is ‘Homoeoparivar- Sarvajan Swasthya, One Health, One Family.’ It will bring together homeopathic researchers, scientists from interdisciplinary streams, practitioners, students, industrialists, and representatives of various homeopathic associations. The convention will provide insights into a future roadmap to Homeopathic integration in research, education, and integrative care through deliberations of various key stakeholders.
The event will witness the exchange of MoUs between CCRH and various homeopathic colleges, as well as between CCRH and the Directorate of Homeopathy, Government of Kerala. Additionally, one documentary, one portal, and eight books of CCRH will be released on this occasion. According to the Ministry of AYUSH, the convention is an opportunity for the homoeopathic community to come together and discuss ways to enhance the quality of research, education, and patient care. The event will serve as a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the field of homeopathy.
The scientific convention at Vigyan Bhawan will be followed by zonal World Homeopathy Day events in five locations in India. The government’s focus on Homeopathy is a significant step towards creating a healthcare system that caters to the diverse healthcare needs of India’s vast population.
